When the snow is falling and the mountain is calling, the last thing anyone wants to be doing is running errands, waiting for a delivery or worrying about whether the house is ready.

And your “powder day” doesn't necessarily have to involve skis.

A vacation concierge handles the details around your stay so you don’t have to — from preparing the home before you arrive and stocking the kitchen to ski-day needs, reservations, errands, special occasions and the unexpected requests that inevitably come up.

Unlike a traditional hotel concierge, Powder Day is hands-on and on the ground. We don’t simply tell you who to call — we help coordinate it, source it and get it handled.

Powder Day Concierge operates during Big Sky’s winter season — generally Thanksgiving through spring closing. Our private concierge and home services are designed around the rhythm of ski season, when homeowners, families and guests are in Big Sky and every detail matters.

2026–27 Inaugural Season: Powder Day Concierge will begin accepting contract work in December 2026 and operate through the close of the winter season.

Seasonal dates and availability may vary based on Big Sky Resort operations, snow conditions and individual service agreements.

Powder Day Concierge does not replace licensed tradespeople, property managers, child care, medical professionals or other specialized providers. 

When a request requires expertise outside our scope, we’re happy to help coordinate the appropriate local resource whenever possible.

Already have a property manager? Perfect.

Powder Day is designed to complement your existing team—not replace it. Your property manager manages the property. We help handle the details around how you live in it.

While property management typically focuses on the ongoing care, maintenance and operation of a home, Powder Day provides personal, responsive, hands-on concierge support for vacation guests, homeowners and hosts.

That might mean preparing for arriving guests, stocking the home, handling an unexpected request, coordinating ski-day details, running an errand, helping with a gathering or taking care of something that simply needs to get done.

Your property manager looks after the property. We help look after your time.

As early as possible — especially during peak winter and holiday weeks.

Advance notice gives us the best opportunity to coordinate your requests exactly as you’d like. That said, plans change and last-minute needs happen. When availability allows, Powder Day is happy to accommodate same-day and short-notice requests.

For Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Presidents’ Day and other peak periods, we strongly recommend reserving concierge support well in advance.

We service area private club communities.

Every request is different, so our services are tailored to the details of your stay and what you need handled.

Depending on the request, services may be billed hourly, by project, or as a concierge package. Any third-party purchases, vendor charges or out-of-pocket expenses are billed separately, and applicable service or coordination fees are communicated in advance.

During peak winter and holiday periods, minimum engagements and premium rates may apply.

Private Client Access is available for clients seeking priority service and ongoing support throughout the Big Sky winter season.

For requests that require a little more planning, discretion or hands-on attention, Powder Day offers customized services tailored to your stay, home or occasion.

These may include private entertaining and event support, bartending and bar curation, specialty shopping and sourcing, personalized guest experiences, complex errands, home organization and moving assistance, project and appointment coordination, detailed punch-list completion, and other bespoke requests.

Availability, scope and pricing are determined individually.

Never. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent.

Items purchased on your behalf are billed at their actual cost with receipts provided. Powder Day charges separately for the time and concierge service involved in sourcing, shopping, coordinating and delivering your request.

Third-party vendor fees, delivery charges and other direct expenses are passed through separately.

You pay for our service — not a hidden markup on what we purchase.

Powder Day partners with short-term rental owners and hosts to provide an elevated concierge experience for their guests — without replacing the property manager or rental company.

From pre-arrival stocking and welcome details to ski-day needs, dining, errands, hosting and last-minute requests, we become a trusted local resource guests can call throughout their stay.

For owners, it’s an opportunity to offer a higher level of hospitality without adding another layer of day-to-day management.

Home access is coordinated directly with the homeowner, guest, host or authorized property representative. Access codes, keys and entry instructions are handled discreetly and used only as necessary to complete the requested service.

Powder Day does not share access information with third parties unless specifically authorized or required to coordinate an approved service.

Yes. Powder Day Concierge maintains appropriate business insurance for the services we provide.

We take the responsibility of working in and around our clients’ homes seriously and operate with professionalism, care and discretion.

When a request requires a separately licensed or insured professional, we coordinate with the appropriate provider rather than performing work outside our scope.

Powder Day provides clear, timely updates as needed, including confirmation when requests are completed and communication if a decision or change requires your attention.

Powder Day Concierge provides concierge, coordination and general support services. We are not a property management company and do not provide services requiring professional licensing or certification unless appropriately qualified to do so.

Powder Day Concierge provides independent professional services to private membership clubs, exclusive member organizations and it's members, as well as other entities. We are an independent contractor and not officially endorsed by, partnered with, or connected to any specific club.

When a request requires a licensed, certified or specialized third-party provider, Powder Day may assist in coordinating services on the client’s behalf. Third-party providers operate independently and are responsible for their own services, pricing, licensing and insurance.

Services are subject to availability, scope, location, weather and seasonal conditions. Pricing, third-party costs and any applicable service or coordination fees will be communicated as appropriate.

Powder Day Concierge reserves the right to decline any request that falls outside our scope, presents a safety concern, or cannot be responsibly accommodated.
